The setting is gracious: a lakeside stone mansion built in the 1930's for a local family whose descendants still visit to reminisce a by-gone era. Five dining rooms (capacity 12 to 35 persons) in their nearly original state. Oak accents: staircase, French doors, panelling, and mouldings, too; as well as the original mantelpiece for the stone fireplace. Only a banquet room has been added (capacity 120 persons); built with stone from the local quarry to maintain the aura of another time... A place for two to relax and dine leisurely or for the newly married to celebrate. Meeting rooms also... The grounds are beautiful: gardens and shrubs with majestic trees; a large deck overlooking the lake. Austrian touches throughout: decorations; servers in ethnic attire; Tyrolian and Viennese music--often live. All set the stage for good food and wine...
